The Holy Spirit is given to us, who in Jesus, have put their trust,

The third person of The Trinity, does a big work, for you and me.

We are baptized by Him in love, into The Lord who reigns above,

The whole Church in one accord, in the One Spirit from The Lord.

He first regenerates all of those, who believe in Christ who rose,

Moving on souls who are lead, giving life to men who are dead.



Spiritually dead but given life, through the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

And by The Spirit we are sealed, a sign we are spiritually healed,

Sealed with God’s guarantee, that we’ve been saved for Eternity.

Sealed till the Day of Redemption; every believer, no exemption.

The Spirit gives gifts to everyone; used to draw men to The Son,

Gifts that will minister to hearts, as God’s Truth The Spirit imparts.



He fills us with a Heavenly spirit, to discern all Truth as we hear it,

With fruit of God’s Righteousness, leading to a life of Godliness,

This as God’s Spirit truly teaches, all of the souls that He reaches.

Teaching the ways of God’s Word, so we live what we have heard.

The Holy Spirit to God intercedes, on behalf of all believers needs,

With heavenly groans for all of us, mere clay men, formed of dust.



Through The Spirit we receive power, for every single day and hour,

Power since we have overcome, this world through God’s Only Son,

Who grants us an Eternal Peace, in The Spirit that shall never cease,

While God’s Salvation is assured; all through The Spirit of The Lord.

The Spirit sent to us from The Lord, does all of this and much more,

So this day, won’t you believe, and then The Spirit, you will receive.
