Acts will enhance your prayers, as you lift to God all your cares,

This simple and tiny word, will change how your prayer is heard,

By The Lord and Jesus Christ, who leads men in their daily lives.

Adoration and confession then, our thanksgiving and supplication.



Adoration is the only place to start, this as we lift to God our heart,

We begin with a heart of adoration, to The Father of our Salvation.

God the Father is to be adored, for sending Jesus Christ our Lord,

Knowing who Christ is my friend; He’s the Beginning and the End.



Confession is that second part, as we bear to Jesus all our heart,

Thus being open with Jesus Christ, to what’s happening in our life.

Humbly confessing all of our sin, as we continue prayer with Him,

When praying with a contrite spirit, you’ll be certain He will hear it.



Thankfulness we then lift up to God, as we humbly kneel and nod,

With thankful hearts we can raise, thanks to Christ for all our days,

For all Christ does in our lives, with special thanks for Jesus Christ.

Thankfulness directed to God above, for all of His Unmerited Love.



Supplication is to be the fitting end, as we pray to Christ our friend,

As we lift our requests to Him, through The Spirit who lives within.

Praying in The Name of our Lord, your prayers will not be ignored,

And as we lift to God our request, it is God who knows what’s best.
