The tides of life swirl around, in places where no peace is found,

Caught up in the winds of life, and buffeted by man’s daily strife,

As evil men are getting worse, not caring at all whom they hurt.

For wickedness pervades the minds, of men in darkened times.

Light to them is their foe, for the peace of God they do not know.

Darkness for them is what hides, all the wickedness deep inside.

All their thoughts are stirred by him, he who seduced Eve into sin.

And he is still the father of lies, coming to you in many a disguise.



As he slithers through the sod, he still remarks you don’t need God.

He may not need God, my friend, for Satan already knows his end.

Soon Christ will crush his head, and cast him to the eternally dead.

For Satan will be in the Lake of Fire, with all those of like desire.

But today these men of like mind, simply seem to darken our times,

They seem to overwhelm our life, with darkness and ungodly strife.

But, when it seems we can’t cope, we have an inner peace and hope,

Friend, even in the darkest of times, we can have true peace of mind.



For in Christ we have a certainty, a hope that points us to Eternity.

And as the world gets darker friend, we have a brighter eternal end,

An end filled with Eternal Peace, which in Christ, shall never cease.

And this peace we have in Christ, flows through all our daily lives.

With this Hope from up above, we are filled with The Father’s Love,

To show men how much He cares, God fills us with a need to share,

To share our Hope in Jesus Christ, and the Good News of Eternal Life,

That you can have Hope my friend, if you make Jesus Christ your end.
