Jesus has been with me all the way, ever since that very special day,

That day when I said yes to God and He put me on a new path to trod.

This path leads me out of night and into The Lord’s wonderful light.

His light guides each step for me on my pilgrim journey to Eternity.



Though the path I’m on may change, The Lord always remains the same.

And on this path I chose to take, I know my life The Lord won’t forsake.

And on this path I can not roam very far away from my Eternal Home.

For the path that Christ set for me comes with an Eternal Guarantee.



However my course may wind at times formed by God’s Eternal design.

A direct route He may replace with what seems to be a winding chase.

At times I arrive in a valley low, for reasons that I do not know.

Then I find myself on a mountain high, again without knowing why.



But high or low, He’s always near, helping me to trust and not fear.

And if I drop into despair, I know that soon I’ll see Him in the air.

For I know at the end of my race, I will see my Lord face to face.

When by God’s awesome Grace, I’m raptured from this temporal place.



God didn’t promise a smooth journey only a secure home in Eternity.

And I am on the path of God’s desire and protected from eternal fire.

And when He put me on my path He promised I would not suffer wrath.

So friend, why don’t you follow me and you too can live for Eternity.
