ALL YOU NEED

You've wondered where the answers are,you have searched both near and far
And all the points along the way but never without a chance to say
You've found what you've been after and now it seems another chapter
Of emptiness is about to begin...but there's one place you haven't been

Sometimes you have to take a look
At all the things that you mistook
As all the answers you would need
To satisfy the life you lead
Without regard to sacrifice ---
Perhaps,just if you would've thought twice
You would finally come to find
That all you need, He has designed

I was once where you are now,wondering about the why and how
Nothing ever made much sense in a world that seemed so immense
I was lost with nowhere to turn but very soon I'd come to learn
There's something to gain from any loss and you'll find it at the foot of the Cross

The Cross He bore for the human race upon which He Himself was placed
Upon that hill in Calvary...I never knew of His Sanctity
Until a friend took me aside and told me about That One who died
For all our sins and set us free --- that's right,I said "us" --- you and me

Sometimes you have to take a look
At all the things that you mistook
As all that life truly means ---
The ins and outs and in-betweens
All that seemed important then
But never meant the same again
And finally come to understand
That all you need is in His Hands

Your quest for truth found only lies,your search for joy brought tearful eyes
You've been up and down every street,always coming back incomplete
Something's missing and you're aware,you've been looking everywhere
...except in one special place,just close your eyes and lift your face

Sometimes you have to take a look
At all the things that you mistook
As being so significant
All those things that you thought meant
Everything and so much more ---
Now you know what you're searching for
And now you've finally come to know
That all you need is in His Glow

All the answers that you seek,the solutions that refused to peek
Will now,at last,be revealed and all your dreams shall be fulfilled
Finally you have earned your peace and all your searching now can cease
What was mssing is restored in the Presence of our Precious Lord

You've wondered where the answers are,you have searched both near and far
And all the points from A to Z,but now you know and you can see
All the glory all for you,forevermore through and through
No more sadness,no more pain as the King of Kings within you reigns

Sometimes you have to take a look
At all the things that you mistook
As being what life is all about
And how you could never live without
All of these "necessities" ---
Fame and fortune and all of these
And finally come to realize
That all you need is in the skies
