TO ALL THOSE WHO LOST A LOVE ON 9 /11

Today,  tomorrow,  and all the days to come,

your heart shall never cry nor grieve alone;

we love just as you love, & in the purest way,

& the confort you need comes from us today:

     we grieve in our fears,

            we cannot find release;

                  we have insufficient tears.

                        we pray you God's Peace.

Happiness of Future seems to have abandoned us.

But  freed spirits  are yet Ever-free Spirits;

we don't "grieve as others grieve", not as hopeless,

for we know that life is but a temporal existence:

    "O, grave, where is thy victory, thy sting?".

           We'll not grieve for un-uttered memory,

                 for Love's bridge to heaven will remain,

                       and heart will join heart, on That Day.

There's no distance now between, nor parting of hearts.

Creature "Time" is not allowed to enter or pass in Heaven

There is a new heart there now, & Love added to the angels'.

There is Reunion now, & New Joy: into God's arms new life came.

     Life is there now, in Forever;

          as a Dove it flew from us to Him;

               as Peace it left us with the Spirit of Joy;

                   as Love, it abides here & in Glory, forever.

A  response to Lesa Gay, sent to me shortly after September 11, 2001.  Grief sometimes needs to age, to prevent bitterness in its expression.
