Yeah,  Sonny, I saw.......

I saw you see me, pickin' up the Sunday paper.

I saw you, tryin' not to let me see you seein' me.

I saw you tryin' to be "cool", Sonny,

     & you've no idea about what "ugly" means to me.

     You don't know me, not at all.



(Chorus):  Yeah, I'm Mrs. Rudy.

           What's that to ya', Sonny?

           Havin' the name is nice,

           & I know how to get what I want.

                You only know what you do about me

                from the mailbox, ain't I right, Honey?

                My life is just fine, Sonny boy,

                & I can live it by myself; & YOU can't!

I can see, Sonny, you don't know ANY woman like me.

I can see you, "dreamin', almost out loud".
