An oasis of peace

Will I find

Or just a mirage

I see within my mind

Where there's a bounty

Of water, dates and olives

And shade

Where I can rest and pray

My worries away

A place where God

Will replenish

My tiresome soul

From a world that has gone mad

And seems to be cold

Where the clouds

Of thunder

Give way to the sun

With the sign

Of a rainbow

That a new life has begun

Yes, an oasis of peace

I shall not shun
