They say our love is backwards so I flip it upside down look into a mirror & dats wen I see a frown // I kno I love u but it's sad to love // cuz it brings back dem memories from far above // of dat love dat died // but still haunts u inside // of ur ex love u thought would never hurt you // but just like that with heart in hand she overthrew // something u thought would never happen // not in a billion years u said not even a trillion // but guess wat she did & now u gotta live with it // they say love is just a word but I refuse to believe dat shit // cuz I still feel da love // I still feel da pain // I wash off da hate but there's still a bloodstain // I kept it there to remember dat day // I moved on to greater things // greater flings & now a queen // my new love // my new spring // but u & me I dnt regret // cuz dat love & pain I won't forget // it help me better understand da meaning of love // it's a powerful emotion dat messes with ur brain // & if not trained one can go insane // love is dat type of emotion dats hard to explain // believe in love // just dnt trust it // accept da reality // deny da possibility // continue to overcome & learn from your mistakes // ignore da haters & spot da fakes // understand ur emotions & learn how to control them // become ur own person // obtain ur diadem // become a leader // dnt follow da followers // make ur own path // live ur life & dnt be afraid to love last.
