The cold of this year's Japanese
Winter still lingers
But lovely sakuras are
Crowning all available
Space among the cherry trees
They warm my optimistic heart
Despite this depressive
Atmosphere and worsening economies
We get these lovely
Flowers to cheer us
Into another year
Gambare........
May our land be as prosperous
As ever
May America rise from the
Sept 11 attack too
May the world prosper again
Like the abundance of sakuras
