borneo sultan fish
US$300 a kilo
its price becomes its death sentence
the sultan fish is found in rapids
near to the centre of Borneo. very difficult to
catch them which i think is reflected in the price. i
think it has got to be the most expensive fish in the
world. millionaire timber merchants from my town crave this
fish because of its soft flesh and tastiness.
consuming this fish has also becomes a prestige. it
has to be ordered in advance in high class hotels
and restaurants. the price has the fate of the fish sealed.

from the sparrows' nests
emerge birds with vampire eyes
i do not know their name but these birds with slivery
black green feathers and red eyes are very good at
throwing weaker birds out of their own homes.

a lot of beggars move around trying to get people's
sympathy by making up wounds on their legs.
