Poetry Your eyes shine like the north star
I'm 70 miles away but it isn't that far
Your smile lights up the darkest of days
And you never cease to amaze
My hands get shaky and my knees get weak
Any time we email or speak
Your lips are soft and taste like a fine wine
Your beauty is so divine that you deserve a shrine
Your laugh fills the room and the lights go bright
Everything seems to be going just right
The day was over and we kissed goodbye
Underneath that star lit sky
