I awoke in such a fright

Then there just beyond my sight 

There through my window pane 

I saw that creature again

Sharp teeth and pointed claws 

Big snout and even bigger paws 

Sadistic smile and a gleam in its eye

Wondering if I am going to die

This fear is so real 

Don't even know is its going to heal 

The creature sits with a fearful glare

I'm just hoping that this is a nightmare
