the light shines down
so many paths to walk
as you look around
people disappear
choosing there path
these predetermined roads
why must we choose one?
why not choose them all
experience everything
would walking off the path be so wrong?
step into the shadows
the light of your soul
as you walk the unknown
the sky changing
paths come into view
the disgust in there eyes
as they see you in the shadows
do they not see
there is light in the dark
just because something is unknown
doesn't mean its wrong does it?
as you walk you see others
ones from the past
ones from years ago
smiles as they see you
as you look back
your path you walked
you see the road of life
the one you have chosen.
