It's been a while now those words were uttered
Of losing your mind to thinking.
And so long it's been that purpose found
Of assuaging such big questions.
But the world has infected,
Brought questions anew
That nag more than the prior.
It's time to move on.
Gradually know that reflection repeated
Brings beautiful sorrow, but nothing more.
For such purpose is grand; unraveling the world;
But you will be stagnant evermore.
The answers found aren't rightly sound,
Or concise, or to adore.
They're sloppy works that tighten and strangle
The throats of those who wish to speak them.
I will never stop the search and scrawl;
The battle of decoding.
But I wish to depart from those ghastly nights
And bring more life to make a war.
As life will pass and time will come
To ravage your lowly mind,
The more you have to understand,
And happier truths to find.
