I could have been John fucking Lennon,
But I believe I'm me.
I am one with carelessness.
Mentally, I'm free.
Some days I'm happy and some not so much.
Either way
It's based on how much I love myself that day.
I can be content with self-destructive behavior,
But my body will pay the price.
Physically, I'm imprisoned.
I'm sick with death and decay.
Still feeling barely alive today.
I'm really tired of breathing this way.
But god damn, we know how to have fun.

I wish I was healthy
I wish I never lost touch
I wish I could hang over
'Cause it would mean I don't drink this much

I'm a tragic addict now, but things are looking up.
Once you've seen the darkest corners of your life,
All you can see from then on is the light.

I can refuse the drugs and the booze
But no matter what I decide to do
I'll say yes to ness
And keep loving all of you

Thanks for your warmth, your support, and sacrifices.
Thanks for sticking with me through yet another crisis.
Home is where the heart is and now I understand
It has nothing to do with where you live.
It's taking shelter in all of your hearts.

I can fix everything I want
And I will rise above
