- What I want you to know about me...
I am a retired police detective. I currently teach at a small private college in central Mississippi. I just released my fourth volume of poetry, "The Empty" in October 2012. I am here because I find the simplicity of this site to be appealing. I welcome and value any comments on my work whether positive or not. I believe that poetry is for everyone and not merely the academic types. I believe that one should write to please themselves rather than to please others.
