Hey young love
And excuse me
If I stare at you
No, I’m not looking
Or wanting him
Instead I seem to be
A little envious you see
Because of what’s
Staring back at me
And I want not to long for
The touches you share
And his light kisses
Along the line of your hair
So please pay me no mind
If I look at you and smile
And my stare seems odd
Be comfortable if you please
And certainly don’t mind me
Sit there between his knees
And feel ever so free
To be absolutely at ease
It’s best to share a caress
Whenever you feel the need
So young love
Don’t mind me
Or my slight smirk
Or this flicker in my eye
I’m just thinking of the next time
When it’ll be me
On the other side
And passers by will look
And look enviously at me
Being loved generously
Being loved freely
So young love,
Don’t mind me.
