in a cold dark alley on the wrong side of town
i hide in the shadows, shivering, shaking
cowering in fear, tucked away from the world
yet still exposed to the brutal winds of pain
winds of truth
storms of right vs wrong
war of the tainted vs pure
i am tainted
blood poisoned, brain intoxicated
liver failing, lungs decaying
everything turns to black
every tissue, every organ begins to rot
in my own alley, on my own side of town
hiding from my shadow, filled to the brim with hate
cowering in fear, for i cannot escape this cruel world
here i lay exposed, with no shelter from my pain
