Sometimes I wonder,
what possibly could have changed.
If I said something different,
if I hadn't been so strange.
Would her thought of me have differed,
would her heart have gone a different way.
Would she be standing right next to me,
in this hour on this day?
Maybe if I had been somewhere,
done something, said something sweet.
Would she be with me now,
would I have swept her off her feet?
I wonder if she would love me,
if I could make the sun go west to east.
Change something I once did,
Cause a past action to cease.
Maybe in the weirdest way,
there's nothing I could do.
To make her change her heart,
to make her say "I love you."
Or maybe in heavens light,
I have already wooed her.
In my mind will always linger,
But I wonder?
oh wow that's really good. I can relate to this. really good poem.
