All the kings’ men torn apart

All the kings’ men torn apart

Forlorn, forsaken, alone on the battlefield

Death around me unscathed I walk on

The silence deafening my soul aches

Fallen comrades, brothers in arms upon this sacred earth

This once barren plain the future fruits so bittersweet

Terrain but not earthen, nor earth bound

Reach to the stars to walk among them

The never ending dance of the cosmos

Watching suns birth, supernova

The days to weeks, weeks, months, months to years

Always growing watching, hoping, believing in tomorrow

The dream of freedom from persecution, for my children

Freedom from within, swells and bursts forth

Creating a wave of change so unbreakable

A new air of confidence takes over

This life is mine to do with as I please

I am the dragon
