This was supposed to be fun

I was still broken

I was still done

with men and with everything

I didn't even plan on you

but since you came along

I just figured you could be my escape

you could be the one that could take

away the bad memories for a moment

and just help me have fun

At first, I was just using you

I do admit

but it seems you were doing the same thing

somehow using each other seemed to fit

All I wanted from you was your body

I just wanted you to make me feel better

but then things started to get foggy

I started to look into your eyes

I started to stare at you and wonder things

this was really taking me by surprise

This was supposed to be fun

I reminded myself

that I was still broken

and I was still done

But somehow I formed a crush

I only meant for this to be fun

I never meant to fall in love
