I'm letting go.

No more crying over you,

I know theres nothing I can do.

You wanted to be alone and on your own,

and now its up to you.

Because I'm letting go,

I won't let you put me down.

Won't be pushed onto the ground.

I was once lost but now I'm found,

So I guess I'll see you around.

I'm letting go.

Now there is no need for me to explain.

I'm not the one to blame,

And although you may be ashamed.

Don't ever feel contained.

Just because I'm letting go,

doesn't mean I don't want you in my life.

Did think someday I'd be you wife.

I won't put you under the knife.

But for now, I'm letting go.
