Remembrance

Right now I can’t hold you.

But in time it will change.

I can’t see you now.

But my vision will return.

Right now I can’t hear you.

But I’m not forever deaf.

And right now I miss you.

But I’ll see you again.

I’m sorry for mistakes that I made.

But I can’t change my past.

Every night I cry over it.

But my emptiness won’t last.

You left me before expected.

Now it’s time I come looking for you.

Even tho I said goodbye.

I’m not sure you heard it or if it got thru.

I’ve finally come around.

I fear I took to long.

By time I said how I really felt.

I think you were already gone.

I know you probably already know.

But I was happiest in your presence.

So here is my last goodbye until I see you again.

This is your remembrance.
