As tears fall down her face
She didn’t want to admit how much it didn’t really matter
She thought it might, so she held on just in case
His friends all tell her he’s an ass whole
Her friends all tell her the same
She thought she knew him better
Too bad she didn’t realize sooner it was just another game
He said he cared about her
He only cared about himself
He said he’s sorry he didn’t want her
He can go tell his lies to some else
Her heart wasn’t really broken
Merely her pride
She keeps thinking one of these times it will be different
Yeah, it was sure different this time
She’ll move on
She knows it will turn out fine
When it’s too late he’ll realize
He really messed up this time
