Don’t talk about my shelf

The other day I was home by myself

My wife had gone out by herself

I hoped she wouldn't be mad

Because I told her I had

Time to put up the new bathroom shelf

It's not something I take delight in

You can imagine it's not so excitin'

Didn't want to labor

So I called up my neighbor

Could he do it? 'Sure, I'll be right in'

My neighbor, his name is Bob

A nice guy, though his wife is a snob

When he finished, said 'Come and see'

I saw what he did, omg

Bob did a terrible job!

I said 'Bob, take a look at that shelf!

Couldn't have done a worse job myself!

You gotta be kiddin' me

My wife sees that, she'll get ridda me

You oughta be ashamed of your shelf!'
