There was once born a baby named Rex
Who at birth was not assigned a sex
It was never clear
Who's at fault here
Here were the after effects
Rex grew up having the blues
Often felt he was born to lose
His life had little rejoicin'
Since he had no voice in
The sex he wanted to use
Rex was living in South Carolina
Worked as a cook in a diner
One day, a knock on the door
A voice said 'What sex you are, must be sure
What do you have, a penis or vagina?'
That question shook Rex to the core
He couldn't take his life anymore
Relocated to China
Became a fashion designer
His creations can be found in any store
