There was a young man named Kirk

Who worked as a file clerk

His boss was named Phil

Phil was mentally ill

And could be a bit of a jerk

One time Kirk couldn't stop coughin'

Phil thought he'd die so he bought Kirk a coffin 

Told him 'As long as you're alive

You must work 9 to 5

Don't use this to take the day off in'

For those who find that remark irrational 

Please try to have some compassion, I'll 

Beg you for mercy

I couldn't feel worse, see
