There once was a man named Lincoln

Who'd always say what he was thinkin'

He was missing a filter 

Was a little off-kilter 

It was said he could drive you to drinkin' 

I know what you might be thinkin'

A man like that, he sounds like he's stinkin'

Don't jump to a conclusion 

Not to add to the confusion 

But he could also drive you from drinkin'

If you're thinkin' that Lincoln was bad

Ask his friends who'll tell you they're glad

When they get drunk at the bar they'll be driven

Driven home so that they keep on livin'
