One day Alexis was walking outside
When a car pulled up driven by Clyde
He said 'Need a lift?

Though Alexis was pretty naive
She told him 'Sir, I wish you would leave

Of this man Clyde you may be suspect

For Alexis, lost his head
Him, he asked that she wed
A proposal she did not reject
They got married during the summer
Though their wedding night was a bummer
