Many Polish names end in 'ski'

You ever wonder, why should that be?

I think I have the solution 

I'll tell you so there'll be no confusion 

You polish your boots, you polish your shoes

You should if you wish to please

It's a good thing, if being Polish is what you choose

To be reminded to polish your 'skis'!
