It doesn't pay to take the car
In Manhattan, there's no place to park in
Spirits need lifting? Go window shopping
Then after, you can take a short rest
Don't think about doing any shoplifting
You'll find yourself under arrest
Taking a car to NYC is a bad idea
That's not the best way to be going
You park on the street? Let me make it clear
Your car will be subject to towing!
