The story of the stingray

In the aquarium in North Carolina

Who is now pregnant

Could any story be finer?

But wait, there's something odd

This stingray has no mate

How did she get pregnant?

The answer some may hate

First they thought it might be sharks

That's what some experts had to say

But when they interviewed the sharks

They said it couldn't be, no way

One said 'I don't know about the others

But speaking for myself

That stingray's a real bitch, ok?

Said more than once 'Go f*** yourself!'

All the other sharks

They all felt the same

So how did she get pregnant?

A research scientist makes the claim

It was a case of asexual reproduction

Her egg fused with another cell, you know

Which then in turn led to

The creation of an embryo

And why did her egg fuse with another cell?

The answer's very clear

The shark told her to go f*** herself
