A winter's day

The last day of December 

I'm where I want to be

Sitting on the top of 

A building in Times Square

People come and at me they will stare

I am the ball

Soon I'll be coming down

All year long

I'm sitting in some warehouse 

Now, it's my time to shine

Don't I look so sparkly?

What a thing to see 

Ever see a dazzling sight like me?

I am the ball

Soon I'll be coming down 

I am so thrilled 

All eyes are focused on me

I'm so happy that I am here 

Ready for the countdown 

Having so much fun
