Come listen to the story of a man named Ray

Who worked at a job with very low pay

After he had been working there for some time

Ray decided to quit and start a life of crime

His friend said 'That's not a smart thing to do

You're a smart guy, I expect better from you'

Ray thanked him for the lesson he had learned

Got a better job, saved all the money he earned

Ray said 'When I save enough money, I'll do what I want

My dream's to eat in a nice restaurant'

His dream he eventually was able to attain

He ate in a restaurant that served food from Spain

Ray was so thrilled, his dream was coming true 

He ate all the food that was on the menu

One thing he ate that really turned him on

A custard tart otherwise known as flan

Ray told the waiter 'Bring me some more flan'

But the waiter said that all the flan was gone

Ray said 'When will you have more?, please tell me when

The flan I adore, want to have it again'

The waiter said he wasn't sure

Ray said 'If that's the case, I'll open my own store'

And that, ladies and gentlemen 

Is how they got the name Raymour & Flanigan!
