In order to assist the N.Y Times in finding the answer that has perplexed mankind since the dawn of time, I've come up with a scientific experiment that anyone out there can try at home. Remember you'd always hear a warning where someone would say 'Don't try this at home?' I'm giving you permission to try this at home. I hereby accept all moral and legal responsibility.

The question before us is one which the Times thinks worthy of devoting an entire article to. Why are we still breathing dirty indoor air? Here's what to do.

Take a deep breath. Hold it for as long as you possibly can. If my theory is right, the vast majority of you will eventually need to take another breath. My God, my theory is correct! I've discovered the answer! I know why we're still breathing dirty, indoor air! Eureka! Notify the Nobel Prize committee! I always wanted to visit Oslo...
