Headline in todays N.Y. Times:
'A Message for the Aging Men Steering U.S.-China Relations'
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/15/opinion/biden-xi-us-china.html
This meassage is for the aging men from China who will be in San Francisco today in connection with talks between President Biden and Xi Jinping.
As in China, most bathrooms in the U.S.are free. It's not ncessary to bring toilet paper or soap with you in the bathroom as these are provided at no charge. While China has realized the health benefits provided by a squat toilet, toilets in the U.S. have not come to that realization yet.
Unlike the Chinese, Americans value their privacy when using a public toilet. Don't be surprised to find high dividers between stalls and possibly smaller ones between urinals.
Finally, instead of WC which is the sign posted on public bathrooms in China, look for signs such as Men, Women, Ladies, Gentlemen, etc.
Aging men need all the assistance they can get. We hope this guide helps.
