Some folks like to get away

Sweat it out on the streets

Take a holiday from

A runaway American dream

Hop a flight to Miami Beach

In suicide machines

But I'm taking a Greyhound

Chrome wheeled, fuel injected

On the Hudson River Line

Better get out while we're young

Because in my state of mind

I was born to run New York!
