My pressure is ire

The N.Y. Times is up to their old tricks once again. Headline in todays paper:

'Threads Become Most Rapidly Downloaded App, Raising Twitter's Ire'

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/06/technology/threads-downloads-twitter.html

My observations are as follow:

If Thread is loaded down, then something must be going up. Otherwise, the entire internet will be out of balance! What goes down, must come up, right? If Thread is going down, Twitter is going up!

Obviously, 'ire' is a mistake. Should be 'higher'. 'Spellcheck' N.Y. Times!

I don't get the whole idea behind this 'Threads' app anyway. Why people would want to waste their time chatting about who's wearing what is beyond me. I don't even think people use that term so much anymore. If I wasn't about to go to sleep, I'd tell you how every time I see these errors my ire rises to a high level!
