There was a young man named Nate

Who couldn't stand to wait

If he waited for too long

He'd say 'This is so wrong 

Waiting is something I hate'

Nate, try not to be such a hater

You might have a problem later

Tonight Nate starts a new job

A place where the elite hobnob 

It's a restaurant, and Nate's a waiter!

I have some news about Nate

The young man who hated to wait

Nate lost his job

At the place where the elite hobnob

Tell you what happened, wasn't great

A VIP came in to eat named Kate

A woman with a lot on her plate

Kate said 'Everyone must hush!

I'm in a terrible rush, I'm ready to order

Where's the waiter? I can't wait!'

It was fate that her waiter was Nate

He came over and said to Kate

'This is really sweet 

You haven't yet ordered anything to eat

How can you have a lot on your plate?'

'You think you're where it's at?

I think you're much too fat

You should stop eating so much

Stop using food as a crutch!
