I was recently discussing these salary disclosure laws with my boss. He felt it was a terrible idea. He explained that he would be required to disclose what salary he feels each job is worth and would revise our salaries accordingly. I asked what the problem was with that. He said, in my case, if he paid me what I'm worth, he'd be violating the minimum wage laws!
