There's a fly ball deep to center

What a shot!

Will the center fielder catch it?

He will not

It's hit too far, too far and long..

OMG! I was wrong!

He caught it!

And the crowd is going wild!

If you're lucky, you might see

Someone who'll make you say 'Gee,
I never saw something like that

That was so amazing!'

He had the talent to amaze

The man whose name is Willie Mays

The player we can never stop praising

On May 6th he's 92

And like it does eventually for me and you 

Time has caught up with Willie Mays
Wouldn't it be great if we could reverse that phrase?

Wait a second! Just thought of something

Imagine this..

It's the top of the ninth in Game 7

We're leading 3-2

Two outs, bases loaded, who's up?

Guess who?

Remember who eventually catches up with me and you?

Time!

Time hits a long fly ball to center field 

The center fielder, will he get it?

Is there any doubt at all?

Willie Mays is at the wall

Willie Mays...He's got it!

Can you believe it! How sublime!

Willie Mays has caught up with Time!!

Caught up with Time?

That doesn't sound right, should be

Caught one off Time!

Did somebody say you're over the hill?
