As I travel through this life
My aches and pains increase
Your words, I've heard those words before
Some day your pains will cease
I'm well aware, what you're telling me is very true
Such wise advice, I find won't help me
So, what am I to do?

Reading can transport you to a different time and place
I realize sometimes in life you face a long, hard road
By listening to my advice, it may lighten your load
Every time I read a book, it's like a brand new start
