A modest proposal

In regard to this historic case

My sympathies lie with Judge Merchan

And the nonsense he must face

Trump has already started with the rhetoric

Going after his wife, what is he thinking?

Does he want to get her sick?

I propose the following

I hope this won't be all for naught

A sign to be put up inside the court

Which says

'President Trump, a word to the wise

We know these proceedings you fully despise

Should Judge Merchan or any member of his family

Feel insulted or intimidated by anything you've said

You shall be immediately taken to the gallows

Where you shall be hung by the neck until dead'

It's my hope, that when faced with his own demise

Donald Trump will realize

To keep his filthy hands off Judge Merchan

For he who touches Judge Merchan dies

Please keep your hands off the merchandise!
