Do you know the name Burt Bacharach?

He wrote a lot of songs 

Talent he surely didn't lack 

Now he is no more, Burt Bacharach 

His music I adore 

There's no one to take up the slack 

Wrote some great songs with Hal David 

I've been humming them for many years 

Now he's gone 

But at 94, no tears

There's no reason I should feel so sad 

His life was full, he had a gift 

And for that, we should be glad...
