This happened yesterday 

On the Major Deegan expwy

You may say No way!

It really did Yes way

A less than year old calf

Promise not to laugh

Who was slaughter-bound

With a tag in his ear

I aught to sound

I aught to hope 

I’m making myself clear 

Was he one of those hicks

Who came in from the sticks

Well he got as far as

Exit 6
