Have you heard
About the bird
It's not a bird
It's a Mandarin duck
In Central Park lake
His plumage is gorgeous
A male duck is a drake
He wants to forge/suss
Out a relationship
With a female Mandarin duck
But he's out of luck
There's no female duck
Poor Mandarin duck
I mean Mandarin drake
He has no one to "bleep''
Must be hard to take
He must get down
Hey, down from a duck!
Ok, now I'm stuck
Better look both ways
Or get hit by a truck
Then I'm outta luck
Like the duck
I mean the drake
In the lake
In Central Park
Get the drake a hen! Surely
Get the drake a hen! Surely the park's authority have a heart or at least a functional duty of care... or an operations manual that's legally enforceable.
P.S.
Is that the image of THE Central Park drake himself?

Yes, that’s the drake..
Yes, that's the drake, though I don't know if he's still there since this was done six years ago. It does bring to mind a joke, however.
A woman walks into a bar carrying a duck
A drunk at the bar 'Hey, where'd you get the pig?'
'It's not a pig, it's a duck'
'I was talking to the duck'
Thank you for your comment!
LOL...
