Poetry Sitting still in silence
never saying a word
trapped in a veil of smoke
to never be disturbed.
I'm lost inside myself
I feel there's no way out
no one feels this pain I have
wish I could bring it out.
A rush of sudden energy
a slice across the skin
no one wants to be
in the position that I'm in.
Silent tears begin to fall
puddles on the ground
no one will notice me when I'm gone
my body will never be found.
The hurt and pain consume me
I'm lost until I fall
tired of fighting to live for free
you all look so small.
I spread my wings
and take the leap
I soar across the sky
I'm falling faster and faster now
...did I mention I could fly?
