Broken Hearted Snowman



I was created,

Just the other day,

While in the snow,

Children did play.



At first I was a flake,

And then something more,

Time went by rather quick,

Indeed, it did soar.



Now here I stand, all by myself,

Two days have already passed.

Nobody comes to play with me,

My life went by too fast.



And now I'm ready to melt,

On this sunny winter's day.

No children here to say goodbye,

No kids playing with their sleigh.



Although I'm just a snowman,

I've got a broken heart.

But alas, it won't be for long,

I'm already falling apart.



My carrot nose has fallen,

My hat is ready to drop.

A tear is rolling down my cheek,

And....I'm falling!  I'm falling!
