I can grant a wish for you,
I can save you from all the stupid things you do.
When you lie and cheat,
I will set you on your feet.
When you get caught,
I won’t lecture you on what you were taught.
I will protect you forever,
I will never let you fall, never.
And yet you’re falling right in front my face,
Your fate sealed like a falling vase.
Your fate is to fall and shatter,
And I’m supposed to act like it doesn’t matter?
I know this world is tough and rough to touch,
Don’t jump, I need you too much.
And yet you jump, there’s nothing I can do,
So I guess I’ll jump, too.
If I could’ve granted you a wish or two,
Maybe I could’ve saved me and you.
